My beautiful Iran: Yazd city

My second destination is Yazd city:
Because of generations of adaptations to its desert surroundings, Yazd is an architecturally unique city. It is also known in Iran for the high quality of its handicrafts, especially silk weaving, and its sweet shops.  is situated at an oasis where the Dasht-e Kavir desert and the Dasht-e Lut desert meet, the city is sometimes called "the bride of the Kavir" because of its location, in a valley between Shir Kuh, the tallest mountain in the region at 4075 m. above sea level, and Kharaneq.

My Beautiful Iran: Tabas city

Today is the first day of spring and also Iranian traditional new year!
So, Happy Norouz to all Iranian *wink*
The occasion I came to travel for visit my country in this special days, in spring...
At first is Tabas city:
Tabas is located in central Iran, 950 kilometers southeast of Tehran, in Yazd Province. The city has hot summers and people rarely see a winter snowfall, cause it is a desert town. Tabas was also stricken by a destructive earthquake on September 16, 1978 that left around 22000 dead. The earthquake was measured between 7.5 and 7.9 on the Richter scale. Since then, the city has been rebuilt with many new streets, parks and public buildings.
